GENERAL JOB DEFINITION As the Hotel Manager, you are responsible for the day-to-day operation of the hotel.
You strive to maximize the overall performance of the hotel, team productivity & performance, and, above all, guest and team member satisfaction!

You are supported by the General Manager Spain in decision-making, leading with passion, and inspiring our teams to ensure we attract the industry's best talent.
The Hotel Manager is responsible for the realization of qualitative and quantitative goals based on the specified annual plan and budget.
You will also be responsible for the activities of the hotel, making use of central clustered services (Finance, Purchasing, People & Culture, Revenue, Booking Office, Sales, and Marketing).
The Hotel will develop yearly departmental goals with the ROD and guide team members to ensure action plans are implemented to achieve them.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Your main tasks and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
OPERATIONS & TEAM MEMBER MANAGEMENT Direct day-to-day operations of the 4-star Hotel. Proactively manage, coach, and supervise all departments to maximize the hotel's performances. Ensure the promotion and active communication of the vision, mission & values of the hotel brand. Responsible for a close working relationship with various HQ departments, such as P&C, Marketing, Branding, Finance, Sales & Revenue. Develop and maintain a regional network of stakeholders. Ensure the proper implementation and execution of the brand.
Ensure that team members with the right attitude, behavior, and knowledge receive training where necessary to maintain the good image of the brand at all times. It is also important to have the technical knowledge necessary for the administrative management of a hotel facility in Italy: Complete knowledge of the hotel bureaucratic process for licenses and certificates (ASL, fire, HACCP, and related).
Verification of safety measures and control by individual workers (ideally, have taken a supervisor course and have a valid first aid certificate). Basic knowledge of CCNL tourism - hotel chains and related application of current regulations. Ensure compliance and enforcement of GDPR and Video Surveillance Equipment in accordance with existing regulations. FINANCIAL, IT & SYSTEMS Responsible for executing the strategic operational plan & related budget in cooperation with Headquarters. Actively contribute to revenue & cost savings in order to achieve better results. Explain results, deviations, and propose activities to improve the operation and overall result. Ensure all GDPR policies are clear, understood by all team members, and are well executed. MARKETING & BRANDING Live and communicate the brand and marketing vision, mission, promise, and values of the Hotel at all times. Monitor and initiate promotional activation through pre, on-property & post initiatives. Monitor data collection efforts through reports and monthly checks. Ensure grooming & styling of the hotel is carried out according to brand standards and guidelines. SALES & REVENUE Keep the organization informed of new business opportunities and development. Work closely with the Revenue Management and Sales team to ensure full compliance with the needs of the Hotel.
Actively support in reaching the individual hotel budgets and incremental revenues as well as the set targets in revenue and sales. PEOPLE & CULTURE Identify team member challenges and resolve them efficiently and effectively by taking ownership. Ensure constructive development discussions with your team members and create development plans where needed.
Mentor, coach, and develop team members that lead to retention and identify high potentials to ensure their succession. Demonstrate a high level of personal integrity and treat people with respect; operate ethically at all times, keeping in mind the best interests of everyone.
