HOTEL OPERATIONS MANAGER
The AC Hotel Milan Sesto by Marriott is looking for a Hotel Operations Manager.
The Hotel Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient day-to-day operations of the hotel. This role oversees all operational departments to maintain high standards of service, improve guest satisfaction, and ensure the hotel's profitability. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, operational expertise, and a deep understanding of the hospitality industry.
Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations of all hotel departments: Sales and Marketing, F&B, FO, Revenue and Reservation, HR, Administration
Ensure all operational departments adhere to hotel policies and procedures
Implement strategies to increase revenue, reduce costs, and improve overall profitability
Collaborate with department heads to ensure seamless coordination and problem-solving in operations
Guide and develop the leaders in individual departments
Ensure compliance with local laws, health and safety regulations, and brand standards
Conduct regular inspections of the property to ensure cleanliness, maintenance, and guest satisfaction
Ensure all guest-facing departments deliver excellent service and handle special requests efficiently
Work closely with the HR department to recruit, train, and develop staff across all operational areas
Assist the General Manager in budget preparation and ensure cost-effective operational strategies
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment to enhance team morale and productivity
Monitor departmental budgets and expenditures, ensuring financial goals are met
Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services
Ensure that all departments comply with health, safety, and hygiene standards
Oversee the implementation of security protocols to ensure guest and employee safety
Coordinate with the maintenance department to ensure all equipment and facilities are functioning properly and meet safety standards
Assist in planning and executing special events, conferences, and meetings to ensure smooth operations.
Report regularly to the General Manager on operational performance, challenges, and areas for improvement.
Maintain clear and effective communication between departments to ensure smooth hotel operations
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of experience in hospitality management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role
Proven experience managing multiple departments in a hotel setting
Strong knowledge of the hospitality industry
Proficiency in hotel management software Opera
Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
