Join us for the opening of our first Ruby Hotel in Italy, opening its doors with 118 rooms.

Ruby Bea is located in the Tuscan capital Florence, directly on Piazza della Líberta in the northern part of the historic city centre.

The old town district of San Marco, with its world-famous museums and botanical gardens is also just a 10-minute walk away.

The hotel is being built in a historic building from the 19th century and - in addition to the typical Florentine arcades on the ground floor - offers exceptional high ceilings, allowing for some of the rooms to be designed as maisonettes.

For our Opening Team we are now looking for a Hotel Technician (m/w/d)

Duties and responsibilities that will excite you at Ruby, as you will be:

- responsible for all general technical minor repairs, structural repairs and necessary maintenance measures

- regularly checking the technical facilities of the hotel

- coordinating all external facility management service providers

- carring out painting and silicone work throughout the hotel

- working closely with the head office in Munich and coordinate with the housekeeping team

- supervising all regular maintenance and expert inspections of the technical and safety-related equipment in coordination with the Maintenance Manager

- responsible for the purchase of replacement material in the area of responsibility

- taking care of the outdoor facilities

**Get in touch, if you have/are**:

- a training in the field of HVAC and/or electrical

- several years of professional experience in a comparable position

- experience in leading/coordinating external service providers

- good general technical knowledge and skills (e. g.

painting, electrical, plumbing)

- a confident, authentic and loyal appearance

- joy dealing with international, demanding guests and have the ability to respond smartly to different guests and wishes

- a good command of English and Italian
