House Manager - Fluent Italian Required

- Emily Walker- Client Manager Our client is requiring a trustworthy, discreet, experienced and proactive House Manager to support him in Milan, Italy. The Household Manger will work independently and in conjunction with the EA to ensure the household always runs smoothly. Travelling may form part of the duties.
**Key Duties & Responsibilities**:
- The primary focus of the role is to provide seamless support the Senior Executive in his personal life.
- Household Management (Milan, Capri, London, Oxford)
- Ensuring household is in good condition on a regular basis checking regularly with
- Housekeeper if issues raised by principals have been actioned.
- Order uniforms for staff, purchase of various items for the house
- Updating monthly household expenditure excel spreadsheet.
- Updating the house book & policies
- Mail/post management
- Organising a liaising with contractors, overseeing repairs and small refurbishment projects
- Wine management (managing the wine collection, ordering and replacing stock)
- Preparing the house for events when the family are entertaining.
- Day to day management of household staff including the housekeeper and other personnel
- In addition to supporting the planning of family trips, this role may require traveling with the family for holidays or occasionally traveling ahead of time to prepare for their arrival.
- Collaboration - this position will work closely with the Senior Executive's other assistants to effectively coordinate schedules and household needs.
- This position will require proficiency in using smart devices e. g. iPhones/iPads, systems e. g. Microsoft Teams/Outlook, and other relevant technologies.
**The role requires**:
- Previous experience in House Management required
- Fluent in Italian and English
- Flexible approach, prioritising the needs of the Senior Executive
- Resilience, able to confidently deal with last minute changes
- Must be available to travel when required
- Ability to adapt to different time zones
- Excellent prioritisation and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills, demonstrable ability to find creative solutions
- Calm under pressure
- Discreet
- Competent in MS Office
- Willingness to expand current-skills and to develop new ones
- Excellent references
