-n Essential Job Functions and ResponsibilitiesEnsure occupied and vacant guestrooms / areas are cleaned and maintained up to the exact Aethos Hotels standard and guidelines as demonstrated by Housekeeping Leader staff during initial trainingRemove all soiled linens and towels from rooms and store on back landingsThoroughly clean guest bathrooms, bathroom walls, bathtub, shower staff, water closet using the suggested chemicals. After cleaning, dry all areas, fixtures and surfacesArrange all toiletries straightened on a piece of cloth in occupied guestroomsReplenish all amenities and terry itemsEfficiently make bed to meet appearance standard as demonstratedArrange all clothing items in occupied guestrooms are folded neatly according to standard as demonstratedUpkeep guestroom and bathroom to include all inside windows and mirrorsRemove all room service trays from guestroom hallways and/or corridors to be brought to back landings and call for pick upVacuum the guestroom's carpet and wipe down furniture and baseboards according to standard in all assigned work areasDouble check cleanliness of completed work area and placement of amenities in each complete guestroom before moving on to the next taskRecognize and report all missing, damaged or substandard furniture, fixtures and equipmentEvaluate work assignment and prioritize workload according to guest requestsOrganize supply closets and work areas so that the Housekeeping Department operates, maintains and consistently meets efficient standardsAlert immediately when Lost & Found items have been foundAdhere to Do Not Disturb policyResponsible for the working area to be cleaned and sanitized and the floor without debris Core CompetenciesFluent in English & Italian is a must2+ years of hospitality experienceCollaborative and communicates well and accomplish tasks at efficientlyMust be a natural host and passionate about the hospitality industry in generalResearch, organizational skills, and extraordinary relationship-building skillsAbility to multitask and execute under pressure and in demanding fast-paced environmentsStrong communication and management skills. Communicate with hosts and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner Must be able to prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlinesFlexible schedule - long hours and regular evening event coverage is commonAbility to make thoughtful decisions and give constructive criticismMust be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying concerns raised by employees and guestsAble to maintain a high level of confidentiality of guests, employees, and informationMaintains regular attendance in compliance with Aethos Hotel Standards, as required by scheduling, which will vary according to the needs of the hotelComply with Aethos Hotel Standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operationsMaximizes efforts towards productivity, identifies problem areas, and assists in implementing solutionsMaintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times, whilst remaining genuine What we offerAttractive development opportunities in a high-growth environment, domestically and internationallyFamily & Friends hotel rateFree gym & SPA usage
