The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing Center at Rome is currently seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor. Duties Include:Direct and manage the Housekeeping department to maintain the highest possible standardsDevelop work schedules of staff and inspect their work to make sure they are meeting the facility's cleanliness expectationsMake sure staff complies with infection control proceduresSupervise new employee orientation process including the explanation of departmental proceduresSchedule and direct the housekeeping and laundry staff through training and in-serviceSupervise purchasing, storage and distribution of all housekeeping, cleaning and laundry suppliesMaintain inventory of all facility linen in order to provide continuous supplyQualifications:Must have at least 1 years of experience working as a Housekeeping Supervisor within LTC or sub-acute settingGood administrative, leadership, managerial, organizational, planning and interpersonal skillsBe personable with residents, families and staff in a professional and cooperative mannerMust have compassion, tolerance and understanding of the elderlyKnowledge of state and federal regulations relevant to Housekeeping and LaundryWe offer the Following:Competitive Compensation.
