Hq Operations Buyer
Team Overview and Job responsibilitiesAre you ready to take on a pivotal role in a dynamic and innovative environment? Prysmian is seeking an HQ Operations Buyer, reporting directly to the Purchasing HQ Operations Manager. You will be responsible for managing various commodities including legal, tax, consultancies, internal audit, marketing and communication, human resources, and fleet management.
You will work closely with different departments to ensure efficient procurement processes and contribute to the overall success of the company. You will be responsible for:Managing procurement activities for assigned commodities and planning of the activities with internal functions;Collaborating with internal departments to understand their procurement needs. Scouting of new suppliers. Codifying new suppliers, managing and constant monitoring the qualification/codification process. Drafting of "Bidder List" with suppliers to be involved in the tender. Creating tenders in the electronic portal PRY-Source (E-bidding). Examining technical offers and relative alignment in collaboration with internal functions. Examining economic and commercial offers. Aligning contractual terms and general terms and conditions. Negotiating Prices and selection of winner vendor(s). Conducting Economic tabulation and price consistency. Creating and issuing purchase orders in SAP. Who are we looking for? We are looking for a Junior Buyer with the following key requirements:Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, engineering or related field is preferred. At least 2 years of experience in a Procurement department. Good negotiation and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Excellent presentation and stakeholder management skills, capable of influencing and collaborating across levels and functions. Highly analytical, creative, and a problem-solver, always ready to generate new ideas and solutions. Self-motivated, results-oriented, and agile, able to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing needs and expectations. Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
