**The role
We are looking for an HR Administration and People Ops Specialist to join our local People Team, based in Milan.
You will report directly to the Head of People and you'll have a specific focus on Personnel Administration, and People Operations and you'll partner with our central payroll team and payroll provider to check and supervise the pay cycle.
You'll also be exposed to other HR processes - being the position a real opportunity to grow and learn - but your focus will sit on HR Admin, People Ops & support to Payroll.
**Your main accountabilities will be
- Take ownership of Personnel Administration tasks covering the entire employees' lifecycle - from hiring procedures to onboarding and managing all employees' events with an admin impact
- Support employees when they raise questions or needs in the admin and payroll areas
- Process reports with regards to employees' headcount and admin
- Supervise payroll activities - to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely
- Constantly collaborate with our CoEs based in our UK Headquarters such as the payroll team, people operations team, comp&ben team
- Oversee the correct flux of information within Workday (our HR system) related to the employees (hirings & leavings, contract, role and compensation changes, etc)
- Process all monthly, quarterly, and annual bonuses and commissions
- Provides support for all transactions related to special payments and salary changes
- Prepare employment offer letters, contracts, letters of promotion and compensation changes in line with the National Labor Contract applied
- Monitoring the monthly deadlines related to employees admin
- Monitoring the correct management of the overtimes and absences accordingly to the National Labor Contract and supporting the employees in the management of their monthly timesheet
- Collect the monthly variations to insert in the payslips and check that all of them are adequately reflected in the payslip draft
- Complies with local legal requirements
**Requirements**:
- You have gained a minimum 2 years' previous experience in the personnel administration and payroll areas
- You are comfortable when dealing with payroll and taxation processes and duties, as well as dealing with all personnel administration tasks
- You have a deep knowledge of the Italian Labour law and of the CCNL Commercio
- Knowledge of Workday HRIS is a significant plus
- You're a precise professional, punctual in carrying out the activities, flexible and with a spirit of adaptation in a dynamic reality
- You have an ability to work in a team and to relate to any level of the company
- A very good level of English is required as you'll also deal with the central People team based in London
