The opportunity We're currently looking for an HR Business Partner to support our operations in the Swiss and Italian markets.
We seek someone with a passion for electric mobility, an interest in technology, and a desire to expedite forthcoming changes.
Occasional sustainable travel may be required.
This position operates on a hybrid model of remote and onsite work.
We believe both in-person collaboration and individual focus time are essential for success.
The responsibilities You will be part of the global HR team, deploying and implementing HR projects and initiatives, while acting as the local HR Business Partner for Switzerland and Italy.
Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting the employment lifecycle, including administration, recruitment, and facility management Preparing and issuing relevant HR documents, e. g. , contracts, pension eligibility confirmations Assisting the local market team with annual merit and performance reviews, career planning, and training programs Providing feedback and reporting to the wider global HR team on projects and process improvements Collaborating with global HR to drive new initiatives and participate in local events The ideal candidate To succeed in this role, you should possess the following characteristics: tenacity, flexibility, curiosity, and the ability to take initiative, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing circumstances.
We are looking for someone with excellent people and communication skills, capable of managing multiple stakeholders and building long-term professional relationships based on trust and commitment.
You should be able to comprehend global strategies and translate them into local applications, working proactively in an ever-changing environment.
Additionally, the following qualifications are required:
A bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field Thorough knowledge of Swiss and Italian labor laws At least three years of experience in the Human Resources field Excellent spoken and written proficiency in German, Italian, and English; French is an asset Experience in payroll or compensation and benefits is considered advantageous Polestar is an international company with diverse backgrounds represented.
