The opportunity We're currently looking for an HR Business Partner to join our HR Business team in support of our operations in the Swiss and Italian markets. We seek someone with a passion for electric mobility, an interest in technology, and a desire to expedite forthcoming change. Occasional sustainable travel in service of a cleaner form of electric performance is part of the role. This position is located in Milano, Italy, and Zurich, Switzerland. We believe in a hybrid model for remote and onsite work, recognizing that both in-person collaboration and individual focus time are essential. The responsibilities You will be part of the global HR team, deploying and implementing HR projects and initiatives, while also serving as the local HR Business Partner for Switzerland and Italy on HR topics. We have fun doing it We are looking for a committed and collaborative HR Partner to adapt, implement, and drive global HR strategies at the local market level. This position will operate on a 50% basis and report to the HR Regional Manager of EMEA, with a dotted line to the Managing Director of Polestar Switzerland & Italy. Here's a breakdown of your responsibilities: Support the employment lifecycle for all employee administration, recruitment, and facility management Prepare and issue relevant HR documents, e. g. , contracts, pension eligibility confirmations Support the local market team with the rollout of annual merit and performance reviews, career planning, and training programs Provide feedback and report to the wider global HR team on projects and process improvements for local adaptations Collaborate with global HR to drive the rollout of new initiatives and programs, and participate in local events The ideal candidate To succeed in this role, and at Polestar in general, you will need tenacity, flexibility, curiosity, and the ability to take initiative, meet deadlines, and abandon unfeasible ideas. Required qualifications include: A bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a similar field Thorough knowledge of Swiss and Italian labor laws At least three years of experience in the Human Resources field Excellent spoken and written skills in German, Italian, and English; French is an asset Experience in payroll or compensation and benefits is considered advantageous Polestar is an international company with diverse backgrounds represented.
