HR Business Partner Florence area (Scandicci and Scarperia), Italy Fixed Term Contract: 10 months This role operates within our Italian business to provide HR leadership and expertise supporting the Supply Chain and Operations teams. The role will maintain the HR policies and procedures across the SC and Operations in Italy in alignment with the EMEA locations, ensuring fair and consistent application and minimising risk to the Company. This will be a HRBP role for our Plants in Italy (Scandicci and Scarperia) reporting into the Senior HR Business Partner Italy. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Facilitate continuous improvement and implementing of new processes and procedures using strong Change Management skillsSupport and coach Plant managers and SC leaders to enable them to effectively manage their teamsIn conjunction with the Plant leadership team, ensure organisational design and resource capability are in place in both locations Italy to enable achievement of business goalsCoordinate local recruitment working closely with the Talent Acquisition team and Hiring managers, ensuring headcount control and workforce planningStay current with employment legislation to ensure compliance and provide credible advice. Working closely with the line manager, is responsible to protect the Company from any claim in HR subjects on the PlantsWork in partnership with business managers to ensure effective management of employee relations issues by providing pragmatic HR solutions which meet business needs. Act as contact for SC and Operations employees, to provide professional, pragmatic and effective advice. Build/maintain good dialogue with local unions with the support of the line manager Ensure that the right plans are executed to continue to develop people according to business needs, talent management and budget (training, development plan)Maintain the relevant internal communication routines with employees: monthly meeting on the shop floor, general meetings, team briefs, local organisation announcements etc. CANDIDATE PROFILE First degree (any discipline) & postgraduate qualification in Human Resources. Proven experience in similar HR manager role in an FMCG, multi-national, manufacturing companyStrong change management skills, the Prosci certification is preferredEmployee and industrial relations experience with demonstrated success in negotiations with unionsGood knowledge of local employment legislation in Italy. Experience of building development and training plansStrong personal and team leadership skillsAbility to influence without formal authority at all levels of organizationAbility to handle complexity across multi-cultural and cross functional borders in a matrix organizationGood balance between Results oriented/People orientedStructured and well organizedGood analytical skillsSelf-starter, able to work remotely from line managerExcellent oral and written communication skills across all levels and cross functionally. Strong team worker locally and internationally, Ability to work collaboratively and maintain a positive outlook, even under pressure. Flexible to change and embrace new initiatives Right balance between strategic thinking and executionMature attitude with the ability to work remotely from direct leadership.
