**Role Overview
Reporting to the VP HR Europe, the HR Business Partner is a key enabler in delivering high growth and change, in line with our ambition to become a true leader in software and payments solutions.
**What you'll be doing
**Strategic focus **- Develop a strong understanding of your client group to understand commercial levers, strategic priorities and revenue targets (if applicable) to be able to effectively business partner.
All people related initiatives and focus underpin our strategic goals and growth.
**Talent attraction and development - **Work with the central Talent acquisition team to recruit roles successfully.
Coach Leaders to identify, pipeline and retain talent.
Challenge and coach leaders to embed effective succession planning processes.
Align succession planning and talent management to the overall workforce strategy.
Improve leaders' ability to develop people to reach their full potential regardless of background or differences.
**Thriving culture **- Lead and support a culture aligned to core values, behaviours and commercial expectations.
Align and drive our D&I agenda, prioritise the health and wellbeing of our people and embed our values.
**Operational excellence**:
- Streamline, improve and manage our people life-cycle including Recruitment, Remuneration, HR Policies, Talent Management, Performance & Development, and Succession planning for the vertical / region.
Working closely with our group functions to ensure we deliver against our people strategy and drive efficiencies.
Identify issues and opportunities for business improvements in a people context.
Ensure any risks are mitigated and escalations are managed effectively.
**Stakeholders**:Develop highly influential and trusted relationships with key stakeholders within your vertical / region.
Provide regular coaching, guidance and challenge in line with our strategic goals.
Foster strong working relationships within the people team, ensuring we deliver against our people goals and roadmap in areas such as talent, learning and development and HR operations.
**Communication and engagement**:_Internally _promote people initiatives within the vertical / region to ensure people are aware and understand what's on offer and why Planet is a great place to work.
_Externally _act as a Planet ambassador, promoting what's on offer via channels such as LinkedIn, Glassdoor and Planet Knowledge Hub.

**Who you are**:
- 8+ years as a HR business partner, preferably within in fast paced, high growth companies.
Experience within a global and diverse team is essential.
- The ability to work independently and take a hands-on approach.
- A proven track record of building strong relationships partnering closely with Senior Leaders and ability to coach and influence is essential.
- A commitment to developing others and a track record of high engagement and high team performance is required.
