**Role Overview**:
As the HR Director, EMEA, you will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of human resources operations across the EMEA region (we have offices in Italy, Spain, Serbia, Israel).
You will play a crucial role in developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives to support the company's growth objectives while fostering a healthy and inclusive culture and employee experience.
This position requires a strategic thinker who is also operational and execution oriented and can effectively partner with senior leadership to drive employee engagement, talent development, and a positive and compelling experience for Sydiggers across EMEA.
**What you will do**:
- As a prominent leader in the EMEA Region, work closely with EMEA leadership to build culture, reinforce Sysdig values, and enhance the employee experience
- Enable the business on our end-to-end performance and growth process: goal setting, talent review, performance assessment, promotion & rewards planning, development planning
- Play an integral role with employee listening across EMEA and propose and implement programs to boost employee engagement, wellbeing, and success
- Provide strategic guidance and counsel on organization design and effectiveness, workforce planning, talent and performance management, and employee and team development
- Work closely with EMEA leadership and legal counsel to manage employee relations matters, investigations, and exits in a way that aligns with our values and policies
- Collaborate with HRBP and HR CoE colleagues for effective implementation of Sysdig HR programs and initiatives into the region, and for support of unique region specific needs
- Working with Global Benefits leader, build relationships with benefits brokers and participate in the evaluation and decision process to ensure appropriate, competitive benefits offerings for employees
- Participate in Talent Acquisition process for critical roles, in close partnership with TA
**What you will bring with you**:
- At least 8-10 years of total HR/HRBP experience, preferably with high tech experience in both rapid growth start-up and more mature company environments
- Ability to operate strategically, and also able and comfortable driving day to day activities
- Strong business acumen with the ability to translate HR initiatives into measurable results
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to navigate cross-cultural dynamics and work effectively in a diverse environment
- People leadership and management skill and experience
- A bias for action, and the tenacity and desire to get things done which have impact
- Analytical, able to draw insights from data and provide recommendations/solutions
- Fluent in English, other language proficiency is a plus.
- Strong knowledge on EU (and country-specific) labor laws and regulations
- Experience working with a Works Council.

- Able to work effectively in a remote setting, able to work from our Milan office at least 1 time/week
- Ability to travel within the EMEA region for site visits (primarily, Zaragoza, Spain; Belgrade, Serbia; Tel Aviv, Israel; London, UK).
Occasional travel to the United States may be required.
