The role is based out of the Milan office and will report to the Head of HR.

Our company blends the sennder GmbH innovative soul, focused on technology and digitalization, with the expertise and know-how of the largest distribution network in Italy: Poste Italiane.
As sennder Italia HR Generalist, you will act as the first point of contact for People-related queries from employees and external partners.
Ultimately, you should be able to ensure our HR department supports our employees while conforming to labor laws.
**IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL**:
- Organize and maintain personnel records
- Update internal databases (e. g.
record sick or maternity leave)
- Prepare HR documents, like employment contracts and new hire guides
- Revise and maintain company policies
- Liaise with external partners, like insurance vendors, and ensure legal compliance
- Create regular reports and presentations on HR metrics, with strong focus on:
- benchmark data about jobs, compensation and benefits
- helping map out salary ranges for sennder Italia open positions
- calculating retention, turnover and internal mobility rates
- reporting on key recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill and hiring costs, and others
- assisting the Head of HR / HRBP and hiring managers in designing hiring and training plans
- assisting in creating budgets by department
- analyzing employees' answers to internal surveys (such as engagement and climate surveys)
- supporting the HRBP in assessing employee data and results from employee performance reviews
- Answer employees' queries about HR-related issues
- Assist payroll department by providing relevant employee information (e. g.
leaves of absence, sick days and work schedules)
- Arrange travel accommodations and process expense forms
- Participate in ad-hoc HR projects as needed
**PREFERABLY YOU ARE**:
- 3+ years experienced as an HR Generalist/ HR Analyst, HR Admin or relevant role;
- Graduated in humanities and economics or relevant field;
- Experienced with HR software, like HRIS or HRMS;
- Thorough knowledge of labor laws;
- Able to manage time and priorities in a highly demanding environment, and to positively, proactively;and successfully engage with stakeholders at different levels of the organizational hierarchy;
- Fully proficient both in Italian and English;
- Open-minded, reliable, self-confident and resilient;
- Able to communicate effectively;
- An intermediate excel user (comfortable using pivot tables, VLookup, and date functions.
