Hr Generalist - Italy
Your Impact**:
We are looking for an experienced HR Partner with a generalist background to support our Italy operations.
**Your main responsibilities will be**:
- Provide HR expertise and support for both our employees and managers across the country
- It is essential that you have experience providing guidance on local legislation, HR practice and cultural norms for the Italian context
- Support engagement with the vision, mission and the values of the company and create positive employee experiences
- Ensure HR compliance with employment laws and regulations
- Ensure staff are effectively onboarded at a local level
- General HR admin work which includes but is not limited to: preparing and amending HR database and documents (such as employment contracts, job descriptions and other employment documentation), off boarding, first point of contact for employees on HR or welfare matters, coordinate with local payroll for monthly inputs, ensuring all employee records are updated, occasional translation from Italian into English)
- Provide input for development and use of HR metrics, data, work processes, systems, and tools, as required
- Participate in local as well as global HR initiatives as part of the global or regional Jacobs HR family
**Here's What You'll Need**:
- Relevant HR qualification or equivalent
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience as HR Generalist/Business Partner in a multinational environment
- Good knowledge of the employment law in the region (CBAs, social security and labour law)
- Experience of building relationships across all levels and areas of the business along with a pragmatic approach to problem-solving
- Very good knowledge of spoken and written English at business level
- Experience working in matrixed organization, including integrating centralized operational HR support functions for delivery
- Understanding of global HR processes is an additional asset
