Hr Industrial & Labor Relations Internship
The team you will be a part of The Intern team supports the department on a short-term basis with undergraduate or graduate student status, typically based on the field of study.
Gains exposure to projects and work in the organization.
This role in summary The intern will support the Industrial Relations Europe Senior Manager in developing and defining the labor relation strategy in the European region, together with the local operations management, acting as SME for all labor law topics.
S/He will contribute to long-range contract negotiation strategies preparations.
Your responsibilities will include Support in managing the development, administration, and maintenance of the labor relations communications programs which includes educational programs, contract interpretation, etc. Support and attend periodical labor management council meetings. Support the development of all employee relations program goals and objectives, policies and procedures, courses of action. Always in accordance with Head of Industrial Relations:
Provides support to HR Business Partners on all employee relations issues. Provides advice and assistance to line and staff units of the Company in interpretations and applications of labor relations matters. Consults in-house attorneys where considerable risk to the company is possible. Provides assistance in the management of collective redundancies, in the process of mobility, redundancy fund, etc. Provides advice on administration of memorandums of agreements and letters of understanding, disciplinary process, and other labor relations matters. Supports the preparation of grievance and arbitration cases. Ensures team spirit, good team-working environment, conflict negotiation, individual and group communication. Supports in driving and enabling the right level of cooperation among functions. Ensures communication of vision and strategy for his/her area of responsibility above and below within the organization. Attends educational activities. Minimum requirements Graduating or Fresh Graduate in Master's degree in Law or equivalent. Fluent in Italian and English. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Strong communication and relational abilities. Influencing and negotiating abilities with humility. Problem-solving skills. Curiosity for HR labor topics.
