We are looking for an HR intern for Grand Hotel Timeo, a Belmond Hotel, that will be involved in a wide range of support activities inside our HR department, from coordinating training meetings to maintaining our employee database, to arranging activities for employees.

You'll also assist in creating policies, processes and documents.

Ultimately, you'll ensure HR department is organized and operates smoothly to attract, hire and retain our employees.

Main duties: Assisting with day to day operations of the HR functions Providing clerical and administrative support to Human Resources Manager Compiling and updating employee records (hard and soft copies) Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations etc) Coordinate HR projects (meetings, training, surveys etc) Properly handle complaints and grievance procedures Coordinate communication with candidates and schedule interviews Support the HR manager to conduct initial orientation to newly hired employees Coordinate social activities for employees Requirements Computer skills (MS Office, in particular) Basic knowledge of labor laws Excellent organizational skills Strong communications skills Degree in Human Resources or related field Good knowledge of English and Italian, a third language will be considered a plus Benefits 6 months curricular/extracurricular paid internship Staff canteen provided
