**Job Description**:
**OVERVIEW
The HR Manager is the only employee in the HR Department.
He reports directly to the GM.
The incumbent in this role is responsible for all administrative and employee relations of the HR department and supports the General Director in all decision relating to strategic, organisational, and operational people matters for a luxury hotel property.
The role helps to drive organisational performance on the objectives of Quality (through effective recruitment, development, and engagement of capable and motivated team members), Performance (through robust performance management, reward and recognition), and Compliance (through compliant and efficient HR Operations, policies & procedures).
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Applications
- All vacancies are posted
- Interviews
- Select and recruit suitable employees for the hotel using the prescribed set of policies and procedures, in conjunction with the HoDs
- All new joiners are personally welcomed and necessary paperwork completed in an organised and efficient manner
- New joiner starting dates are communicated and coordinated with the respective HoD, with Housekeeper for the uniform, with Chief Engineer for fingerprint
- Every employee has a complete employee file
- Compile and update employee records
- Employee and payroll data are maintained in systems
- Vacation and sick leave are tracked and monitored
- Payroll is handled efficiently every month both for employees and daily workers
- Ensure an efficient and compliant HR administration according to Aman policies and local requirements, including supervision of internal and external payroll services.
- Employee communication boards are up-to-date
- Employee locker rooms and Cafeteria are looked after together with Housekeeper and Executive Chef
- Organisation of employee social activities
- Ensure that all hotel team members are certified and qualified to work in their respective positions as per the compulsory governmental guidelines in place
- Deal with employee requests regarding human resources issues, rules, and regulations
- Update all internal and corporate reports
- Every leaver receives an exit interview

**QUALIFICATIONS**:
- Two years' experience in hospitality field, in HR department and with a pratilac overview of all activities and processes in a typical HR department
- Mandatory proficiency in Italian and English
- Excellent communication skills
