Join us!What will you do? You will be joining our growing team with currently operational sites in Piacenza and Borgorose.

Our new site in Ferentino is in the early stage of being build.

Your task will be to make sure that the Italian organization is set-up in a professional way and well prepared for growth ahead, supported by the Headquarters in the Netherlands.

You will help find the key people for our current and future warehouse operations and staff the warehouses once they are ready to go operational.

You will be working as a strong partner and advisor for the Italian management team and will be part of NewCold's European HR team. Key Tasks:Supervises Country daily HR operations such as payroll, pension, personnel insurance, absenteeism, commencement/termination of employment, leave registration, lease car fleet managementDevelops local and Country HR strategy in line with the organizational strategyDesigns, implements, and monitors a variety of local human resource programs and aligns them with the European / global approachMonitors HR information needs, ensuring that HR management information is available on requestCoordinates local recruitment processes for various job levelsPartners with local suppliers, such as payrolling, legal, insurance, lease car companies, etc. Serves as first point of contact for employees for human resources issues, rules, and regulationsUnions ManagementCollects, processes, and manages all local personnel data and ensures accurate and concise records at all stages of the employee journeyMonitors and administers absenteeism of the local organization, in line with health and safety legislationManage GDPR and 231 for the CountryMonitor and Control the HR and temporary agency costs and invoicesBe responsible for the P&L linked to the HR departmentWho are we looking for? You have a deep understanding of general HR Management, and you are experienced as an HR Manager or HR Business Partner for Italian businesses.

You are an HR Expert for the Italian market, Eeperience in the logistic sector is preferable.

You have a pragmatic approach and the willingness to be personally involved in the daily HR activities and the deployment of the HR organization.

You are used to being part of an international HR Team that cares about a common approach regarding topics like recruitment, employer branding, talent management, talent development, succession planning etc. Qualifications and Work Experience:Master's degree in human resource management, Business Administration, or comparable studies7 or more years of work experience as an HR Business Partner or HR Manager with Italian businesses (ideally in cold store logistics, supply chain, FMCG of similar industries)Experienced in general HR ManagementUsed to a high volume of recruitment and operational activitiesStrong administrative as well as management skillsExperience in dealing with Sindacati, labor unions etc. Experience in handling flexible contractsIn-depth knowledge of Italian labor law and social security systemStructural and detail-oriented way of workingExcellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate at all levels of the organizationUsed to working in a matrix organizationDriven and determinedResilient and assertiveTeam playerStrong Managerial skills and able to support the Italian Administratore delegatoFluent in Italian and English, both verbal and in writingLiving close to one of our bigger sites ( Piacenza or Ferentino preferable )Open to business travel within Italy and handle implementation timesReady to make an impact?
