The role in a nutshell: The HR Services Manager (HRSM) plays a pivotal role within the Global Employment Outsourcing (GEO) organisation, by providing expert HR advice to a range of global clients relating to employment laws in Italy and ensuring a seamless worker life cycle. The HRSM is a subject matter expert on local labour legislation and uses their knowledge to ensure compliance with local laws, usage of local best practices, and to mitigate local employment risks. They act as Safeguard's local representative and provide Safeguard's clients and their employees with a true local experience.

How you will make a difference: Being the main point of contact for all HR related questions throughout the worker life cycleWorking with the Operations Team to ensure successful onboarding for all new GEO workersProactively supporting the delivery of all the GEO HR processes encompassing handbooks, policies, practices and procedures, ensuring legal complianceDeveloping and maintaining all types of contracts of employment (Starters, Leavers, Extensions and employment transfers) ensuring legal complianceManaging complex HR projects/issues with Worker(s)/Clients, including but not limited to Performance Management, terminations & transfer of employmentAdvising clients where necessary on workers' career progressions and promotionsAdvising clients where possible on salary analysis & recommendationsWorker offboarding (voluntary & involuntary) along with retirementsAdvising and supporting Management in HR-related responsibilitiesApplying and updating, when needed, HR policies, procedures and work conditions as well as ensuring their communication and complianceMaintaining employees' personal data as per local lawsParticipating in different projects, as requested by the immediate line managerActively identifying gaps in processes and making recommendations/implementing changes necessary to mitigate riskProactively supporting the GEO Team and Line Management with regular updates on employment lawProviding ongoing guidance and support to internal teams including Sales, Operations, Supply Chain and Line Management as and when requestedWorking with associated benefit providers to provide legally compliant benefit packages for all workers and providing benefit costing updates to Supply Chain and Line ManagementManaging the monthly payroll for all workers with our local payroll partner ensuring legal complianceWhat will give you an advantage: 2+ years of experience and knowledge of Italian Labor LawPrior management of Employment Terminations is essentialAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentExperience in advising on complicated Employment Relations IssuesFocused on results, ability to manage priorities and respect deadlinesAnalytical and Problem-Solving skillsNext Steps: To apply, please click on the following link.
