The role in a nutshell: The HR Services Manager (HRSM) plays a pivotal role within the Global Employment Outsourcing (GEO) organisation, by providing expert HR advice to a range of global clients relating to employment laws in Italy and ensuring a seamless worker life cycle. The HRSM is a subject matter expert on local labour legislation and uses their knowledge to ensure compliance with local laws, usage of local best practices, and to mitigate local employment risks. They act as Safeguard's local representative and provide Safeguard's clients and their employees with a true local experience. How you will make a difference: Being the main point of contact for all HR related questions throughout the worker life cycle Working with the Operations Team to ensure successful onboarding for all new GEO workers Proactively supporting the delivery of all the GEO HR processes encompassing handbooks, policies, practices and procedures, ensuring legal compliance Developing and maintaining all types of contracts of employment (Starters, Leavers, Extensions and employment transfers) ensuring legal compliance Managing complex HR projects/issues with Worker(s)/Clients, including but not limited to Performance Management, terminations & transfer of employment Advising clients where necessary on workers' career progressions and promotions Advising clients where possible on salary analysis & recommendations Worker offboarding (voluntary & involuntary) along with retirements Advising and supporting Management in HR-related responsibilities Applying and updating, when needed, HR policies, procedures and work conditions as well as ensuring their communication and compliance Maintaining employees' personal data as per local laws Participating in different projects, as requested by the immediate line manager Actively identifying gaps in processes and making recommendations/implementing changes necessary to mitigate risk Proactively supporting the GEO Team and Line Management with regular updates on employment law Providing ongoing guidance and support to internal teams including Sales, Operations, Supply Chain and Line Management as and when requested Working with associated benefit providers to provide legally compliant benefit packages for all workers and providing benefit costing updates to Supply Chain and Line Management Managing the monthly payroll for all workers with our local payroll partner ensuring legal compliance What will give you an advantage: 2 years of experience and knowledge of Italian Labor Law Prior management of Employment Terminations is essential Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Experience in advising on complicated Employment Relations Issues Focused on results, ability to manage priorities and respect deadlines Analytical and Problem-Solving skills Next Steps: To apply, please click on the following link.
