We are now preparing to open our second property in a few months, further expanding our commitment to excellence in hospitality.
To support our growing operations, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Specialist to oversee all HR functions across both properties (~ 80 employees). Position Overview:The HR Specialist will be responsible for managing and executing HR processes for both hotels, ensuring compliance with labor laws, fostering a positive workplace culture, and supporting the operational needs of the business.
This role is integral in driving recruitment, employee engagement, training, and performance management while maintaining high standards of HR excellence within the hospitality sector. Additionally, this position presents a unique challenge and opportunity:the HR Specialist will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing HR processes almost from scratch, creating efficient, scalable, and employee-centric systems tailored to the needs of a growing hospitality business. Key Responsibilities:Oversee and manage all HR functions for both hotels, ensuring seamless operations. Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in alignment with local labor laws and company standards. Lead the recruitment, selection, and onboarding process for all hotel staff, ensuring the hiring of top talent. Create and establish HR processes from the ground up, ensuring efficiency and scalability. Manage employee relations, providing guidance and support to resolve workplace issues. Organize and oversee training and development programs to enhance employee skills and performance. Administer payroll, benefits, and compensation structures in collaboration with finance teams. Monitor compliance with labor laws, health and safety regulations, and company policies. Support managers and department heads in performance management and employee evaluations. Drive employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive and productive work environment. Assist in HR reporting, analytics, and workforce planning to support business decisions. Manage HR documentation, contracts, and personnel records with confidentiality and accuracy. Qualifications & Experience:Bachelor's Degree (Master's Degree is a plus) in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. 2 to 5 years of HR experience, preferably within the hospitality or hotel industry. Strong knowledge of Italian labor laws and HR best practices. Proven experience in recruitment, HR administration, and employee relations. Demonstrated ability to develop and implement HR processes from scratch. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite. Fluency in Italian and English. Why Join Us?
