Become part of our great team as a Position Summary As HRIS (Human Resources Information System) Architect, you are responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the technical architecture of HR systems to meet organizational needs. You will work closely with HR, IT, and other departments to ensure that the HRIS (such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, or Oracle HCM) aligns with business requirements, optimizes HR processes, and provides a high-quality user experience. As HRIS Architect, you will be the strategic and technical lead for the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's HR technology infrastructure. This role involves collaborating with HR, IT, and other departments to understand the business's HR requirements and translating them into scalable, sustainable HRIS solutions. The HRIS Architect ensures systems are secure, reliable, and effectively integrated with other enterprise systems. As HRIS Architect, you will lead the internal HRIS team. Responsibilities System Design & Architecture: Develop and maintain the overall architecture of the HRIS, ensuring scalability, flexibility, and security. Design system configurations and integrations to support HR functions, including recruiting, onboarding, payroll, performance management, learning, and employee data management. Partner with HR and IT to evaluate, select, and implement new HR technologies and enhancements. Professional, proactive communication with internal customers & colleagues and external vendors. Implementation & Project Management: Lead HRIS implementation projects, managing timelines, resources, and cross-functional communication. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze gaps, and configure solutions that meet organizational goals. Ensure the successful rollout of system updates, including testing, documentation, and training. Integration & Data Management: Design and oversee the integration of the HRIS with other enterprise applications such as ERP, CRM, and financial systems. Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance across the HRIS, implementing data governance standards and data protection policies. Support HR to develop data reporting, analytics, and dashboard capabilities for decision-making and provide valuable insights. Security & Compliance: Ensure HRIS complies with data protection regulations (e. g. , GDPR, CCPA) and organizational security policies. Implement role-based access controls, audit logs, and data encryption to safeguard sensitive HR data. Partner with legal and compliance teams to conduct regular security assessments and system audits. User Support & Training: Serve as a subject matter expert and primary point of contact for HRIS-related inquiries and troubleshooting. Support HR to develop user guides and training materials. Your Profile -Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Human Resources, or a related field (Master's degree preferred). -5 years of experience in HRIS management, architecture, or IT solutions development. -Proven track record in designing, implementing, and maintaining HR systems, preferably with platforms like SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, Oracle HCM, or ADP. -Project management experience, including leading cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment. -Strong technical knowledge of HRIS applications, data management, and HR processes. -Expertise in HRIS integration with other enterprise systems and third-party applications. -Proficiency with data analytics and reporting tools to derive insights from HR data. -Knowledge of compliance requirements related to HR data, including GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAA. -Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. -Excellent communication skills for interfacing with technical and non-technical stakeholders. -Certifications in relevant HRIS platforms (e. g. , Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM). -Experience with cloud-based architecture and SaaS HRIS platforms. -Knowledge of scripting or programming languages (e. g. , SQL, Python) for data extraction and reporting.
