RM-1D18E)The role holderreports directly to the MANAGING DIRECTOR and functionally to theprojects/construction sites TECHNICAL DIRECTORATE and the GROUP QHSE MANAGER.
Byestablishing relationships with customer representatives, constructionmanagement, suppliers, subcontractors, public and private entities the HSEMANAGER has the task of promoting a sustainable HSE culture in order toguarantee the safety and health of the employees and collaborators at thecompany offices and at construction sites in Europe and in the Mediterranean.
The activities are carried out inthe collaboration with approx.
fifteen direct internal collaborators. Key tasks and accountabilities: - Responsible for Health and Safety on the WorkPlace (RSPP) pursuant to Legislative Decree 81/2008 and subsequent updates.
- Proposal, development, implementation andmanaging of HSE systems and processes for company activities, in accordancewith the ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 standards.
Development of company security systemin order to protect the environment and implementation of strategies forsustainable development.
Auditing activity with the purpose of determining thecompany HSE performance.
- Development and implementation of strategiesand action plans that ensure sustainable development of the company; - Maintaining up-to-dateknowledge of mandatory regulations and standards, aswell as any interpretations thereof.
- Identificationand assessment of risk factors present in the company and identification ofmeasures for the safety and health of the work environment; - Gatheringof all necessary information necessary for the elaboration of the RiskAssessment document, as well as the implementation of specific trainingprograms for employees; - Analysis, correction and, where possible, elimination of risk factors(including those related to exposure to harmful substances), ensuring thatpersonnel is informed and trained in accident prevention and provided withprotection and emergency equipment.
- Organizationof education/trainings and managing information at all company levelsconcerning: 1.
Risksto health and safety at work related to company activities; 2.
Firstaid, firefighting, evacuation of workplace procedures; 3.
Namesof the workers appointed to apply the fire prevention, firefighting, first aid, emergency management and evacuation measures; 4.
Names of the Workers'Safety Representatives andthe Qualified Health Professional; 5.
Thespecific risks related to each company activity, safety norms and the relevant Companyregulations; 6.
The hazardsrelated tothe use of the dangerous substances and preparations on the basis ofthe safety information cards as established by the laws in force and by thenorms of good practice; 7.
Themeasures and activities of protection and prevention adopted in the HSEintegrated management system, promoting the utmost attention to the HSE issues.
- Development of training and information programs for employees in the fields ofhealth, safety at work and environmental management.
- Elaboration and control of the preventive and protective measures, identificationof the personal protective equipment appropriate for the task to beperformed and the employee - Proposalof the organization of emergency services; - Promptanalysis of incidents and near misses and development of HSE prevention andprotection improvement actions - Supportto the company organization in HSE issues as one of the company core businessaspects; - Participation in the preparation of tenders as an HSE expert; - Takingpart in the management of project teams as an HSE expert; - Preparing and keeping active HSE records and statistics; - Coordination and conducting audits, both internal and external (carried outby third parties) - Carrying out analysis and investigations; delivery of reporting to theManagement on the encountered non-compliances and the analysis of their causes; Collection and record ofcustomer satisfaction data; customer complaints;Performance indicators; - Development and monitoring of the company's HSE performance, its process andthe preventive and corrective actions to be taken; - Environmental impact assessment in order to identify, assess and reduceenvironmental risks to which the organization could be exposed and analysis ofthe subsequent financial risks; - Proactive support to the Business unit managers through the systematic auditingactivity aimed at highlighting possible regulatory non-compliances; - Participation at the periodic company meetings regarding the management ofcompany security; - Activeparticipation atthe periodic meetings and in international working groups withoccasional trips to the headquarters located in Germany. Education andQualificationsIn addition to thelegal requirements, certificate of RSPP (Responsible for Safety on the WorkPlace) with title ATECO (Classification of Economic Activity) for macro sectorSP2 and SP4 and ATECO B3 and B4, the ideal candidate has a bachelor's or a master'sdegree preferably in Technical- Engineering area and has attended at least onespecialization course or master' in Occupational Safety and Health and EnvironmentalManagement Systems. Languages - Fluency in English - Fluency in FrenchExperienceRequired min.
10 years' ofexperience in similar roles within large and medium-sizedcompanies characterized by a complex structure andbusiness activities carried out on constructionsites in Italy and abroad, operating as contractors for large-scale civilengineering projects, oil & gas, offshore refineries and in general in theenergy production sector. Knowledge and solid experience in the implementation ofcertified management systems in complex companies, such as ISO 14001 andOHSAS18000. Diplomacy, excellent interpersonal skills and ability to establish constructiverelations at all company levels and with private and public entitiesresponsible for carrying out controls and certifications of the system.
