Our client is a renowned Italian high-jewellery Maison, part of a Global Luxury Group.

We are looking for

**HSE MANAGER

**Health, Safety & Environmental Manager

He/She will report directly to the Production, Logistics and Production Development Director.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist Italian corporate functions and offices & production plants in delivering all aspects of HS&E management and Legal compliance with all applicable international/national/local legislation;

- Support sites implementation of the H&S standards, procedures and best practices in compliance with legal requirements;

- Perform H&S compliance evaluation & supervision and facilitate H&S communication and training; Identify, manage and mitigate H&S related risk and impact in correspondence with legal requirements;

- Ensure accurate and timely H&S reporting;

- Implement HS&E Group Management Policies, Standards and Guidance in line with the Local HS&E Management System and provide relevant training to all affiliate personnel;

- Develop the H&S Culture providing support to the line management;

- Compile and deliver HS&E training to all staff;

- Facilitate execution of HS&E strategy locally with direction from the Group;

- Ensure arrangements are in place for HS&E audits/reviews and inspections of the workplace, plant and equipment in order to monitor compliance with the Company HS&E Management System and local legal requirements;

- Ensure all occupational injuries/illnesses, dangerous occurrences, incidents and at risk behaviours are fully investigated and reported with findings and recommendations for preventive action and corrective action where appropriate;

- Advise and assist in all risk assessment activities, including advice on new investments and projects locally and recommend appropriate actions and priorities.

**Profile**:

- Master's Degree in Environmental/Mechanical/Management Engineering;

- Working towards or already achieved a professional HS&E qualification e. g.

NEBOSH international certificate (ideally) or equivalent e. g.

Master in occupational Safety and Health, recognized by AIAS (Associazione professionale Italiana Ambiente e Sicurezza);

- At least 3-5 years of previous working experience in industrial companies as local HS&E Specialist;

- Good knowledge of ISO 14001/ISO 45001 standards;

- **RSPP certification**;

- Fluent in Italian and English.

The resource will be based in the Milan headquarters.

He/she will also travel to the Italian production sites in Lombardy and Emilia Romagna to supervise all the activities connected to the Italian workshops and plants.
