Position: HSE Site Engineer

Duration: 6 months
Requirements: HSE construction experience (minimum 3-5 years). Experience in energy projects is an advantage. University Degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Civil Engineering is a plus. Knowledge of Italian HSE Legislation. Fluent in both English and Italian. Responsibilities: Review, analyse, and prepare, if requested, Safety Plans for the construction site. Monitor, evaluate, and analyse the effectiveness of HSE Plans and propose improvement actions. Supervise activities and check the documentation of contractors and/or subcontractors on-site. Review project drawings and POS/procedures to identify potential health and safety issues during construction. Ensure HSE information is properly displayed in the site office, and the site is compliant with all HSE documentation and mandatory safety equipment (e. g. , fire extinguishers, etc. ). Prepare the site's H&S files in accordance with PSC, POS, and legal requirements, ensuring they are always up to date. Establish key information for emergency plans (power networks, environmental agencies, gas network, water, BT, hospital, police, fire department, HSE, etc. ). Prepare ERP (Emergency Response Plans) for the sites. Oversee subcontractor H&S compliance through briefings, discussions, and on-site training (induction, toolbox talks, etc. ). Ensure the application of waste management procedures as per Italian law.
