Purpose of the job

- To ensure compliance (including local laws and regulations), Group culture, targets and policies respect and implementation, granting HSE as first priority

- To spread "safety first" culture within the organization, creating and encouraging a high level of safety awareness

- To implement all identified measures for safe and sustainable job environment, according to legislation and company organization and activities

- To monitor the effectiveness of implemented measures

- To implement strategies to prevent from identified risks and to protect employees jointly with HSE Manager and the other local managers

- To contribute to employee's safety information and training

- To lead and conduct accident and incident investigations, determine root causes and define corrective action jointly with respective line managers

- To promote Behavioral Based Safety process

- To handle the safety and environment reporting system at the Group and towards the management team

**Main responsibilities

- To ensure to be constantly aware on local safety and environment laws and regulations updates

- To act as an advisor on safety and environment laws and regulations for local management team

- To support HSE Manager in setting and achieving local safety and environment targets and KPIs

- To cascade to local management team as well as through the whole organization safety and environment targets and KPIs and achieve them jointly with line managers

- To raise any anomaly to the HSE Manager and take the needed actions (including disciplinary ones) when necessary, jointly with HR Manager

- To contribute to the develop, assess and adjust safety procedures

- To cooperate with HR department to define, plan and execute safety and environment training programs

- To prepare and conduct specific safety training sessions for employees and vendors

- To contribute to plan and execute compulsory safety meetings and information initiatives

- To cooperate with Fire Prevention team in order to define and implement joint measures, procedures and initiatives

- To contribute to take care of safety and environment certifications

- To participate to safety and environment internal auditing system, defining consequent action plans and monitoring the corrective actions implementation

- To coordinate and execute systematic safety inspections on personnel, equipment and materials during the job routine and in particular in extraordinary situations (e. g. machine stop, extraordinary maintenance, rebuilding activities)

- To prepare written reports of findings and recommendations for corrective or preventive measures as well as follows up to ensure measures have been implemented

- To contribute to safety and environment communication initiatives

- To proactively participate to HSE network and initiatives

- To maintain accurate safety and environment files and records, according to regulations and guidelines

- To contribute to develop a high performance and continuous improvement culture

- To promote good social climate and people engagement

**Education & Work Experience

- Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental, Health and Safety or Engineering

- Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in HSE field in industry

- Problem solving

- Teamwork, self-motivation and communication skills

- Experience in HSE audits

- Knowledge of Process Safety Management Programs

- Fluency in Italian and English
