**This position reports to**:

Country Holding Officer

**Your responsibilities**:

- Driving continuous improvement by implementing the Group HSE management system and improvement programs.

- Empowering the management team to grasp obligations and liability, Italian HSE law and ABB requirements, and how to drive behavioral change;

- Reporting on performance of ABB Sustainability goals, KPIs and HSE incidents.

- Record and maintain required documents.

- Planning and executing HSE projects and reporting on goals and progress

- Collects, analyses and reports on HSE performance, identifies problems and makes suggestions to avoid repeating the problem in the future.

- Overseeing audits of HSE area

- Raising awareness to ABB Group sustainability targets, and increasing commitment to reach HSE Group targets

- Promotes awareness to country key resources about HSE requirements and up-to-date legislation prescriptions

**Your background**:

- A bachelor's degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) is preferred and at least 5 years of experience in the area

- Prior experience with HSE Management Systems, such as Intelex are ideal

- Master's in Health and safety (preferred)

- Advanced English and Italian Level

- Fluency in Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel and PowerPoint is required

- The ability to manage complex issues and work in cross-functional teams; Collaborative, solutions-oriented approach; Strong written and spoken communication skills
