The Employee & Labor Relations Specialist is responsible for managing Employee Relations cases for designated workforce group(s).
Management of Employee Relations includes, but is not limited to, assistance with complex employment policy interpretation, workforce grievances, advice of management on discipline.
He/she is responsible for using standard tools, processes and guidelines to research/investigate concerns, to identify policy violations and evaluate findings to ensure appropriate actions are consistently administered.
The ER LR specialist manages assigned cases to ensure appropriate resolution of service requests within defined time periods, levels of accuracy and quality standards and customer satisfaction levels.
He/she adheres to established standards and guideline.
In particular, the ER LR Specialist is in charge to manage Employee and Labor Relations matters for designated legal entity, in order to ensure appropriate resolution of service requests within defined SLA in terms of timing, levels of accuracy and quality standards, to increase and empower the customer satisfaction experience.
**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supports Labor / Employee Relations Cluster Leader to provide a high level of service to employees, HR Community and Business Leaders.
- Works closely with HR business partners and relevant stakeholders on all employee and labor relations topics.
- Serves as the first line contact to human resources by providing guidance and assistance to employees for policy inquiries and employee related issues.
- Provides employee relations support, including conflict resolution, disciplinary action, and performance improvement counseling.
- Communicates policy updates and changes to HR Council, business and employees.
- Support Business and BUHR for all labor relations activities (information, consultation and negotiations).
- Explains complex company and governmental rules, regulations and procedures and the need for compliance to managers and employees.
- Assists in the investigation and resolution of employee grievances.
- Coordinate the processes of responding to complaints.
- Support the business in D&A projects and RIF processes.
- Support the Cluster Leader in reaching the assigned targets in terms of KPI's and metrics, through navigation and usage of dedicated tools, periodical reports and data collection and analysis.
- Dialogue with the IGI Cluster ERLR Team as well as with ERLR Admin to share best practices, identify development opportunities in terms of customer service experience and cases management.
- Coordinate the support from external Law Firms and dialogue with the legal dept in order to check and monitor legal fees, also through dedicated platform.
- Takes care of the most sensitives cases regarding employment matters (Credo cases)
- Participates to EMEA ERLR community activities, workshop, projects and training
**Qualifications
3/5 years HR experience within an international environment, focused on Employee Relations, Labor Relations and HR Generalist experience (Multisector experience will be preferred);
Knowledge of Employment and Labor Relations laws, regulations and practices;
Expertise in Policies and Procedures;
Good logical and tactical thinking;
Very good experience in reading, understanding and actioning on KPI's and SLA
Experience in diagnosing, isolating, and resolving complex issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems;
Enthusiastic team player with a strong drive to create a positive work environment;
Ability to Influence without authority
Consolidated negotiation skills
Strong communication skills
Fluence in English (experience of HR activities managed in english, i. e.
: conf call, trainings, written communications etc);
Very good knowledge of MS office tools and platforms
University degree in Law
