To enable us to continue delivering these objectives we are seeking serving PC Dog Handlers to join our Specialist Operations Command.

Humberside Police covers a large geographical area covering East Yorkshire, Hull and North/ North East Lincolnshire, which is home to coast, city and countryside.

Our Specialist Operations Command is based at our Melton site, just off the A63 on the outskirts of Hull.

Humberside Police offer relocation/removal expenses of up to a maximum £8000 to transferring officers who live outside the force area and at least 50 miles from their permanent place of work.

**Eligibility

To be eligible to transfer to Humberside Police, you must:

- Be a current serving police constable dog handler in a Home Office force

- Have no outstanding discipline or integrity issues

**Application Process

Applicants who meet the eligibility criteria will be invited to an assessment and competency based interview.

Those successful at interview will be required to undergo the following checks before appointment:

- Vetting

- Medical Assessment & Fitness Test

- Drugs & Bio-Metrics

- Fitness

- References

- Sickness Criteria

- Misconduct

- Tattoo Clearances

All appointments will be made on merit.
