We are looking for a HVAC and Energy Engineer to join our MEP team (Mechanical Electrical & Plumbing) within Arup Milan Office. Your Role: Design of mechanical systems including heating, cooling, heat rejection, air and water distribution, ventilation, air conditioning, water supply and drainage systems, building automation and controls. Define and develop energy & carbon (scope 1, 2, 3) strategies with a particular focus on Science, Industry and Technology projects and clients. Liaise with architects, clients, and other stakeholders to set the constraints of the mechanical design and energy/carbon targets and co-ordinate with all other disciplines in terms of requirements, inputs, and influence on all others. Act as project lead engineer and interface with the client. Manage small project teams. Required: Sound knowledge in mechanical engineering and energy/carbon fundamentals. Bachelor/Master's Degree in Mechanical/Building/Energy Engineering. Confirmed experience in the design of mechanical systems. Knowledge of AutoCAD Revit MEP. Knowledge of both English and Italian, written and spoken. Good communication skills essential for team-based working. Excellent planning and organization skills required for our fast-paced environment. Must be highly motivated, proactive, and willing to take on new challenges.
