**What you will do

The HVAC Junior Designer will be responsible for supporting the Sales team in the preliminary **design and cost estimation of turnkey projects within the YORK HVAC Installation sales dept.

**He will also be responsible for technical support and consulting sales activity towards consultants and engineering company.

**How you will do it

- Support the Sales in the execution of customers site inspections

- Execute the preliminary design, calculations and cost estimation of turnkey projects

- Develop schematic designs and layout drawings utilizing AutoCad

- Design sustainable solutions based on customer needs

- Develop energy savings opportunities and provide consistent solutions for the customers

- Coordinate with internal resources, external designers, suppliers and sub-contractors

- Create detailed bids that outline costs and timelines for construction

- Communicate with Sales Reps and customers to understand project requirements, goals, design specifications, and operational environments to evaluate cost, feasibility, and implementation of new equipment

- Oversee the development of projects together with the Sales and the Project Management team

- Deal directly with external consultants and engineering companies to create and drive new sales opportunities.

**What we look for

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e. g. , Mechanical, Energy, Industrial) or related field

- AutoCad and design software skills are a must

- Ability to work as a part of a team

- Excellent written and oral communications skills
