Job Responsibilities Independently determines project scope, performs product evaluation, drafts test plan and defines sample requirements by analyzing client requests and standard's requirements. Autonomously determines project's effort and time scheduling. Communicates with clients to share scheduling progress, explain UL procedures and requirements, and discuss technical issues. Interacts with laboratory activities by preparing testing documentation and instructions for lab technicians. Provides technical assistance to laboratory and/or field staff. Integrates continuous improvement concepts and techniques into all aspects of the job. Proposes development of new and/or revised UL requirements. Projects may include travel to conduct or witness tests at client sites. May interact with global technical leaders for specific product categories or requirements. Qualifications University Degree in Energy Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electronic Engineering. Basic knowledge of HVAC-R products from your university studies. Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and electrotechnical principles from your university studies. Ability to successfully partner with Engineering and other Laboratory Personnel to complete projects in a timely manner with high quality. Effective communication skills and ability to interact with international customers and colleagues. Fluency in Italian and English – we are a European team, working with customers all over Europe and interacting with colleagues globally.
