Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role you will be responsible for promoting HVACR LV Drive Products range to the Data Center industry in the EMEA region, and getting ABB in the respective Approved Vendor List of relevant end-users.
You will serve as business consultant to senior managers, working with sales, marketing, and engineering teams on product development specific to the industry requirements and developing solutions for client specific applications needs and local market requirements.
Also, you will be responsible for developing and growing ABB's relationship and market share by increasing share with existing customer(s) and/or potential ones.
This role reports to the Vice President of Global HVACR segment in Motion Drive Products (MODP) division.
The role is open globally, but the location is set in ABB offices across Europe with a preference for Finland (Helsinki), Germany (Manheim), Italy (Sesto San Giovanni) and Spain (Madrid).
The selected candidate will join a F2F training (1 to 3 months) in our ABB factory in the US (New Berlin, Wisconsin).

Understanding and communicating Data Center architecture and applications, correlating them to ABB LV drive products. Developing and prioritizing a business development pipeline of $50M+ for HVACR Data Center Key Accounts. Understanding industry dynamics, decision-making processes, and key decision-makers. Positioning ABB as a preferred supplier by understanding motor and VFD "Approved Vendor List" definitions. Monitoring technology trends and shifts, translating them into product utilization insights. Collaborating with product management and marketing to develop industry-specific portfolios and promotional materials. Supporting local Sales and Channel Managers, and coordinating activities with target Key Accounts. Establishing strong relationships with key customers and provide regular summary reports to sales management. Qualifications for the roleBachelor's or higher degree in Engineering or similar field. 8+ years of relevant experience within a complex business environment selling technical products to data centers. Proven knowledge of motor and drive systems as well as of HVACR market. Product and marketing knowledge in Drives as they relate to HVACR Data Center systems and applications. Understanding of customer needs, and proven experience in customer interface. Fluent English both spoken and written. More about usWe value people from different backgrounds.
