Our client has been in business for over 50 years and recently expanded their company internationally. In this critical role, you'll be responsible for managing the general ledger, financial reporting, audits, and technical accounting for each of their divisions (3). Although a strategic mindset is needed to help guide financial planning and ensure operational efficiencies, 80% of your time will be spent as an individual contributor in a hands-on capacity carrying out accounting functions and reporting. Don't miss your chance to have an impact without compromising your home life [HYBRID] Controller (accounting/finance exp. in manufacturing req. ) Responsibilities • Manage the finance direction, coordination, and evaluation of each business unit (3) • Oversee accounting team (2) to ensure personal and departmental goals • Conduct detailed profitability analysis and drive operational efficiency • Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports • Review monthly financial results and forecast for short and long-term • Summarize and forecast business activity and identify operational opportunities • Develop annual business plans following strategic goals and business growth • Address and alleviate international accounting and tax issues • Prepare and oversee lender reporting requirements and annual audits • Maintain the integrity of financial data allowing for more data-driven decision-making [HYBRID] Controller (accounting/finance exp. in manufacturing req. ) Qualifications • Bachelor's degree required • Strong cost accounting experience required • 7 years of accounting experience within manufacturing required • Experience with international accounting including currency conversions required • 5-10% international travel required J-18808-Ljbffr
