For an important company specialised in environmental consulting and engineering, with headquarters in Tuscany and territorial office in Milan, in order to support business expansion and growth, we select a

Hydraulic Engineer Ref. 67/24 The person will be included in a multidisciplinary team, will be employed on complex infrastructural hydraulic/environmental engineering projects and will be involved in all design aspects, from preliminary/preliminary studies up to the start of works.

Design activities will concern in particular: water recovery and recycling systems, remediation, waterproofing, hydraulic invariance, drainage and sewerage, hydrogeological risk mitigation and other related projects.

In particular, the figure will have to deal with:

– site visits and site visit reports

– hydrological studies;

– drafting technical reports;

– feasibility projects;

– final/executive design in the field of hydraulics;

– participation in meetings/conferences with clients, partners and authorities.

Requirements: The ideal candidate has a degree in engineering, licensed to practice, with specialisation in hydraulic, environmental or related engineering.

He/she has at least 2/3 years of experience in the field of hydraulic design and modelling within hydraulic or environmental engineering companies, water service management, land regeneration consortia.

Specific skills are required in the field of hydrology, in the use of modelling and hydraulic calculation software, such as HEC-RAS, AutoCAD, GIS, Civil 3D.

Knowledge of the English language is considered a prerequisite.

Depending on requirements, willingness to travel within the country for inspections or site visits may be required.

Grade and salary will be commensurate with the candidate's seniority and skills.
