**Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026** is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 9 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2, 300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22, 000 square km.

The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).

Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.

**Position**:

We are looking for a Senior figure with skills related to the Sport field acquired in similar roles in event organizations and/or structured sports institutions/organizations.

The figure will have to work closely with the Sport Director in the management of the international relations of the Sport Area (International Federations, International Olympic/Paralympic Committee, national federations).

**Responsibilities

1) Responsibility for relations and communications with international and national federations;

2) Analysis and planning of the most appropriate solutions aimed at satisfying the demands of service levels from international and national federations; working in relation to the conduct of the competitions of the Olympic program; working in coordination with the other functional areas for the services of the International Federations (i. e.

: Accommodation, Transport, Food and Beverage, etc.

);

3) Management of daily correspondence with the Federations, through different tools.

Presence at various meetings in presence and online.

4) Elaboration of programming documents, official presentations, reports addressed to the stakeholders of the Sport area with specific reference to international Federations;

5) Coordination of the IF relations team within the IF services area and execution of the operational phases in accordance with the reference area, agreed with the Sport director.

6) Management of different scenarios related to the relationship with international and national Federations (i. e.

: IF Delegates, International Technical Officials, National Technical Officials, etc.

).

**Requirements**:

- Ability to work in teams, meet the deadlines and adapt to the multidisciplinarity and flexibility required;

- Maximum precision, confidentiality;

- Excellent capacity for managing institutional relations;

- Excellent knowledge of foreign languages, English is a priority, any other language knowledge will represent a plus.

- Capacity to ensure accuracy, confidentiality and excellent institutional relations

- Capacity to manage and programme complex agendas as well as the preparation of timely reporting.

- Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft package with priority over Excel and Power Point.
