I&I Sr Medical Affairs Scientist - Rheumatology
Pfizer is hiring a Passionate, Talented, Innovative, Charismatic Sr Medical Affairs Scientist (MAS) in Rheumatology Therapeutic Areas in Inflammation & Immunology (I&I) Medical Affairs Department.
The hiring of the Sr I&I MAS fits the iTALent purpose, providing a rare growth and development opportunity to lead scientific innovation in our I&I Therapeutic Areas.
The Sr MAS will report directly to the Italy I&I Medical Director.

The Sr MAS is a permanent member of the I&I Italy Medical Affairs organization.
The I&I category has been developed to maximize the existing in-line portfolio in rheumatology, gastroenterology and dermatology while positioning Pfizer as a JAK-inhibition leader with an exciting and promising pipeline in rheumatology.
Sr MAS will join I&I Team and will be responsible for Rheumatology TA in Italy.
Will have direct relationships with healthcare professionals and research centers focused on increasing quality of partnerships to share the common final objective: patient's health improvement.
Key Experience Offer of this Role- Leading the conversation to positively influence the external environment and help the patients with Immune-Mediated Inflammatory Disease (IMID)- Developing local medical strategy- Transforming our "go to market model": act as critical change agent leveraging on medical and scientific capabilities to lead acceleration of new capabilities, including digital and multi-channel medical.
Primary Responsibilities- Maintaining the highest scientific standards during in/external activities to provide deep medical and scientific expertise- Establish a strong collaborative scientific relationship with relevant stakeholders in the assigned area (KOLs, medical societies, and other relevant internal/external stakeholders)- Integrate customer medical insights into the country medical and brand strategy, provide medical and scientific strategic support to the regional medical team, medical leadership to the country brand team, country and / or local XFTs, drive implementation of the country medical plan. - Contribute to the implementation of local medical strategies and life cycle clinical plans for rheumatology medicines- Ensure safe, proper, and effective uses of assigned products, contributing to patients (and populations) health and well-being- Observe compliance rules, ensuring activities and communications are conducted in compliance with all policies, guidelines, and regulation and ensure the respect of medical independence
What You Offer- Medicine degree is required-> 3 years industry experience is required- General knowledge/Medical Affair experience in the Rheumatology TA is required- Board certification in Rheumatology/Internal Medicine is preferred- Academic experience or clinical experience are strongly preferred- Experience in conducting clinical research activities is strongly preferred- Knowledge of clinical development processes- Fluent English plus local language- Excellent communication and public speaking skills- Adherence to Pfizer Values: Courage, Excellence, Equity and Joy.
