What you'll need to have
- Board knowledge of the local market, our consumers and specifically business customers and their needs
- Strong knowledge of competitors in the local market
- Broad knowledge of businesses, business trends, office trends, private consultancy trend
- Broad understand of the supply chain and the challenges this can create for the business customers shopping with IKEA
- Deep understanding of the Business Customer Experience maps and how to influence each step of the customers journey
- Broad knowledge of data analytics and the sales KPIs
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced, fast-changing and future-oriented environment.
- Motivated by finding new ways through co-creation with colleagues and HQ
- Good knowledge of the Italian & English language
What you'll be doing day to day
- Ensure the best professional service of your consultancy team both for Business customers and Private customers that need to furnish a full apartment
- Create the action plan to deliver to the market business plan with input from key stakeholder
- Build long-lasting relationships with local business communities and actively spread the awareness of IKEA as a brand and partner for business in your local market
- Be brave on commercial opportunities or threats to face a fast-changing business environment by monitoring the main KPIs, evaluating relevant input from your local market, investigating local customer needs and their feedbacks in all the channels and analysing stock availability
- Be an active speaking partner with your Team Leader and your Manager in the HQ to have an effective collaboration between units and HQ, by keeping an active eye on the competition and sharing best practises and proven solutions
- Proactively work with HR department to have the right number of competent colleagues in the right place at the right time securing that they are fully able and available to serve customers and actively help them to buy, to guarantee the best customer experience to our visitors
- Ensure your team has the right growth mindset and sales attitude, the correct knowledge about the product range in your department, and the IKEA services so that they can share this with IKEA customers to exceed their overall expectations on shopping experience
- Recruit, onboard & develop your team, its individual members, and their talent to have engaged colleagues and ensure a succession planning
- Present, negotiate and sell larger projects to the customers stakeholder/management group
