Scope and Purpose**:

- Focus on fostering the corporate, leverage and infra loan origination effort in the EU markets with other product and relationship teams leading internal deal teams, supporting the client selection process and effectively carrying out external marketing activities

- Managing the syndication process of loans from initial underwriting through successful distribution to a broad base of investors

- Coordinate the other members of the team in their activities

- Manage market risk deriving from proposed transactions;

- Monitor market trends in the different loan asset classes and maintain proprietary market info databases;

- Support product desk in the credit proposal process identifying the target final take for the transaction;

- Define distribution strategy identifying potential participants in the transaction;

- Follow investors invited in syndication at all stages, in coordination to the extent necessary with product desks and other internal functions.

**Required Experience**:

- Solid experience in the Loan Capital Markets and / or Debt Capital Markets having originated and worked on significant Acquisition, Leverage or Infrastructure facilities across Europe

- Capital market professional with clear client/ geography area expertise.

7-10 years of experience.

**Required Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge**:

- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent

- MBA qualification as an advantage

- Excellent communication skills in English; a second European language an advantage

- Knowledge of commercial and investment banking products

- Strong negotiating, sales and interpersonal skills,

- Leadership skills

- Ability to work in team environment and lead multi-party negotiations.

- Advanced computer skills, particularly in Excel, Word and PowerPointBloomberg/Reuters and main Loan Markets info providers.

- Broad banks and institutional investors (CLOs, Hedge Funds) knowledge

- Network within loan syndication bankers with access to senior decision makers

- Solid understanding of accounting and financial statements.
