Inbound Logistics Planner - Internship

An exciting opportunity has arisen to contribute to the Logistics Team at Haier Europe.

Main activities

Reporting directly to the Logistics Manager - Italy, the Inbound logistics planner will coordinate the inbound flow from ports to the Italian regional distribution warehouses with the aim of increasing product's availability, saturating all warehouses' capacity and ensuring a cost-effective inbound transportation flow.

**Main activities**:

Work closely with the Last Mile 3PL providers to ensure the effective execution of the delivery, and cost effectiveness,

Plan inbound flows from ports allocating containers to unloading slots in the warehouses in line with sales priority defined by the Demand Planning / OTC department,

Manage inventory levels in all the Distribution Centers, Cross Docking and external areas to ensure products' availability accordingly to back orders and forecast,

Support with analysis for warehouses' stock takes/periodic inventories, and ensure alignment between providers' WMS and company's ERP,

Support in building, maintaining and updating a KPI dashboards to measure service levels offered both by the providers (loading times, non-conformities, ) and by transportation suppliers (OTIF, OTD, Lead Times, Reaction Times, ),

Address every business criticality may raise to the correct internal departments (OTC, Quality, Sales, ),

Review logistics suppliers' invoices and detect potential misalignments,

Support the line manager with warehousing & distribution projects, TMS and ERP to address continuous improvements on Logistics activities.

Who we are looking for

Management Engineering/Economics or similar student or neo graduated;

Good knowledge of English, fluent in Italian;

We offer a 6 month internship.
