Position Overview
Monitor Ocean, Air & Ground shipments from vendors and act as point of contact for the various inbound partners, from freight forwarders to the Distribution Center Operations.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Follow up shipments from vendor departure to Distribution Center delivery including ensuring shipments depart on time, track in-transit milestones, confirm delivery and approve related freight cost. Ensure systems - both RL and Customs - are reflecting the most updated information and work with our partners to resolve possible technical transmission problems. Work with Customs to ensure proper documentation is received, ensure it is complete and correct and manage possible issues. Work closely with external and internal partners such as carriers, freight forwarders, buyers, global transportation team etc. Data accuracy review. System data update. KPI reporting.
Experience, Skills & Knowledge
Applicant must speak Italian and English. 6-12 months experience in a related role. Good analytical skills required, good knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Results oriented & excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), ambitious to grow and learn.
