Index Sales Specialist: Fast-Track Coverage Program
Your team responsibilities
This position is a highly visible role working in a targeted, sales driven environment.
The index sales specialist will be involved in various aspects of account management including senior level relationship management, product demonstrations, contract negotiation, and increasing revenue through new sales and strategic account planning.
This role sits within our Fast-Track Coverage Program and therefore benefits from a 3-month upfront learning journey across Client Coverage, beginning with Global Orientation.
This will provide an understanding of our operating model, products, solutions, and culture, followed by a series of short desk experiences across ESG/Climate, Risk Management Analytics, Index and Real Assets (our Product Lines), enabling you to be truly client-centric and complementing your permanent role at MSCI.

**Your key responsibilities
- Relationship management with existing clients
- Identify areas of incremental growth opportunities
- Prospect clients and establish new client relationships
- Position new MSCI products and MSCI research
- Strategic account planning
- Answer detailed client inquiries about MSCI products and methodologies
- Maintain accurate records regarding account visits, client conversations, etc.
- Pro-actively solicit client feedback regarding new initiatives and future product development
- Provide feedback from clients to Management, Research and Product Development
**Your skills and experience that will help you excel
We want creative thinkers, intelligent people with a desire for success and leadership potential.
You should have strong analytical skills, an understanding of the investment management process, and experience in a commercial sales position within financial services.
**You will navigate hurdles with entrepreneurial spirit, have excellent communication and relationship management skills.
- Bachelor's Degree required (Master/CFA would be a plus)
- At least 1-3 years of relevant sales experience
- Expertise in the Asset Management, Banking, or financial services industry
- Familiar with the investment processes of AMs/WMs
- Knowledge of the European financial market & trends
- Familiar with MS Office, especially Excel & PowerPoint
- Fluent in Spanish
- Superior communication and time management skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
**Note: We will hire at Analyst or Associate level depending on experience and qualifications.
