**We are searching for an **Indirect Materials and Services** **Buyer** for our Turin Site.

The position will report hierarchically to the Indirect Materials and Services Manager.

Principal Accountabilities will include:

- Play an active role in the development and implementation of global commodity strategies, and be able to translate these into European plans.

Act as a focal point and link to UTC corporate commodity managers.

- Accountable for the selection, development, and management of the suppliers to meet the cost and performance requirements.

- Lead key RFQs and negotiations, to optimize supplier selection and maximize value.

- Negotiate contracts and refer to corporate to get them validated and approved through the defined process.

- Contracts are properly executed

- Standardize and improve processes across the Indirect Materials and Services Supply Chain teams using ACE tools; drive continuous improvement opportunities and remove non value - add activities.

- Point of escalation for supplier issues.

- Accountable for compliance to SOX & implementation of business controls for their area of responsibility.

- Sourcing of indirect goods & services leveraging synergies and providing commercial support.

- Savings plan in place and responsible for delivering their savings target; accurate & timely reporting of savings and headwind.

**Requirement

- 2-3 yrs experience in Indirect Procurement, suppliers management, contracting

- Able to influence stakeholders at all levels in the organization, with excellent communication skills

- Able to quickly identify commercial opportunities, implications and risks

- Strong negotiating skills and good knowledge of contract law

- Project management capability to drive projects through to their conclusion.

- Strategic & creative thinking

- mandatory excellent command of the English language, spoken and written

- good knowledge of Microsoft Office, knowledge of SAP and Business would be an advantage

**Education

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Law or Business Administration
