Industrial And Product Control Manager
Position**:
The Product and Industrial Control Manager, reporting to the WW Management Control Director and leading a team of 4 people over 3 different sites, will be responsible for overseeing the entire product development lifecycle, from concept to production, ensuring that all financial aspects are put under control.
This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of the fashion industry, production processes, and market trends.
**Job responsibilities**:
**Product Development and Production Management**:
- Collaborate with the product team to monitor Maison's development costs.
Set the budget by collection with regular updates during collection development phase.
- Deep control and monitoring of production process, including sourcing materials, selecting manufacturers, and managing timelines. Monitor production costs (standard/actual) and work to optimize efficiency and reduce waste interacting with all levels of industrial organization.
**Pricing activities and Budget Management**:
- Participate to pricing sessions with Product and Industrial teams to ensure the margin targets are set properly and reached for each collection by product category / line / SKU.
- Support evaluation of repricing activities.
- Prepare and present result to Top Management.
- Responsible for developing and manage budgets for product development and production with all the relevant stakeholders.
- Cooperate to build and monitor Maison Consolidated P&L from sales to direct margin and depreciation, cooperating with other HQ and Regional finance departments. In charge of setting budget and monitor industrial structure costs on a regular basis and ensure that projects are completed within budget.
**Reporting and Analysis**:
- Provide business explanations related to margin rates and their evolution both Consolidated and Industrial by relevant business dimensions (channel, product, geographical area etc.
).
- Cost control and KPIs monitoring with specific focus on Production costs (from direct cost - standard and actual - to overheads), industrial efficiency, industrial structure cost monitoring, Capex forecasting.
- Analyse data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Collection cost monitoring by season/collection/product division.
- Stock control monitoring (both Raw Material and Finished Product).
- Cooperate with the Product team and the Supply to assess impact of the end of life.
- Guarantee monthly / annual and regular forecasting activities on time.
**Special Projects**:
- Work closely with Operations on special projects such as Product Upcycling, Industrial Chain integration (new acquisition / partnership), new product categories launch.
- Support IT in all the relevant analysis and enhancement needed.
**Profile**:
To successfully cover the role is key to have:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
A master's degree or professional certification (e. g. , CPA, CMA) is preferred.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in industrial control, preferably in the luxury fashion industry.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools (SAP, Excel, Power Point, Anaplan).
Stealth 3000 is a plus.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of French would be considered a plus.
- Excellent leadership and team management along with excellent communication skills to interact with all levels of the organization.
- Problem solver with strong analytical expertise, from the detail to the global view.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities. Availability to regular travel around the different production sites (Italy). - LVMH is committed to non-discrimination and respect of each person's singularities.
