They operate in a profitable and not yet mature market, that is growing with a +7% estimated CAGR, in the next few years.
They are Italian leader in their space and develop on ongoing basis a vast line of products.
With a global turnover in excess of 800M€ and 3 manufacturing plants in Italy, they have international / global presence in 60+ countries, with about 2000+ FTE.
They operate on the base of the best technologies of the market, and have constantly invested in R&D.
They are now facing a new cycle, supported by a Top tier PE Fund , that is managing the next phase with an organic and acquisitive growth strategy.
While on one side the transformation will encompass multiple streams and multifunctional projects, they need on the other to onboard the resources to enable this ambition.
Position – The role: In this context, the Industrial Operation Excellence team has recently been created to strengthen the Function and to address strategic improvement initiatives to shape a best-in-class organisation, while running the business and managing growth.
The Industrial Capacity & Advanced Analytics Specialist will report to the Head of Industrial Operational Excellence and will play a key role in advanced data analysis and strategic capacity planning , with focus on managing: 1) the long-term Capacity Planning process , ensuring effective use of the proprietary "Capacity Planning Tool" and providing data-driven insights to support the decision-making process; 2) advanced data analysis to optimize industrial processes , with applications in digitalization, performance monitoring, and operational efficiency improvement.
Position – Specific responsibilities: Capacity Tool – Analysis & Process Governance Capacity Planning Tool Management: Ensure the correct use of the analytical model for production capacity planning, providing timely updates in line with management governance and providing a critical interpretation of results.
Data Governance: Collect and structure data sets received from different business functions (Industrialization, Planning, Operations, Sales, Finance, etc. )
to ensure accurate and timely inputs.
Analysis & Reporting: Monitor production capacity trends, identify patterns, and propose solutions to optimize planning, providing data-driven insights to support business decisions.
Strategic Planning Support: Analyse production capacity data and provide key inputs for CapEx planning; evaluate production expansion scenarios through "what-if" analysis.
Industrial Operations – Advanced Analytics Advanced Dashboards Development: Create and manage visualization tools using Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms to define and monitor Industrial Operations KPIs.
Advanced Data Analysis: Apply predictive models, statistical regression, and correlation analysis to identify opportunities for improvement in chemical-industrial processes.
Industrial Process Digitalization Support: Collaborate on the collection and management of operational data to identify trends and anomalies, enhancing production efficiency.
Complex Data sets Management: Analyse large volumes of data from industrial sources (e. g. , ERP systems, Data Lakes, production monitoring tools), facilitating interactions with Sales & Finance for economic and production assessments.
Requirements and key skills: Education: Degree in STEM domain (Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or similar).
Experience: 2-4 years' experience in Advanced Data Analytics, Business Intelligence or Industrial Process Management within structured Organisations or Consulting firms.
Advanced knowledge of both Excel and Data Visualisation tools (Power BI, Tableau or similar).
Familiarity with SQL databases and enterprise data management as well as knowledge of Python (or similar) for data analysis and predictive modelling would represent a plus.
Experience with statistical analysis software (e. g.
Minitab, SPSS, JMP) would represent a plus.
Strong analytical and numeric skills , sharp on details, yet able to think high level to translate complex analyses into practical insights.
Curious, passionate about innovation and hungry to explore new technologies to improve the effectiveness of analysis, with the energy to drive results in a fast-paced environment.
Effective communicator with solid synthesis skills, to effectively engage all corporate functions.
Languages : Full proficiency in spoken and written Italian and English is a must.
Location : close to Vicenza, with agile/hybrid approach to work.
