In order to support the financial function, Imerys is looking for a Cost and Production Analyst (Industrial Controller). At a plant level, ensure consistent standard cost calculations and monitoring, provide financial data to support the site Manager / Hub controller and Accounting among the major plants of Imerys in Italy located in Massa e Carrara, Domodossola and Avezzano. Main responsibilities:Calculate and update standard costsResponsible for fixed assets & Physical stock reconciliation with ERPUpdate actual unit costs in ERP for inventory valuationPerform plant production and inventory monthly reconciliationOversee accounting ledgers and correct cost centers/ accountsDetermine accruals to be booked in ERPExtract data from ERP, fill energy tabs, mine & inventory informationReview Monthly plant and mine cost reports with site managerProvide financial data (standard costs, production costs, etc) and ad hoc invoice information, quantity produced when requiredInvoices receptions control & balance in ERPAccountable for consistency of plants standards costOther Important FunctionsThe ideal candidate possesses the following requirements:Understand industrial processes and costing principlesDeep knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP, IFRS), practices, standards, laws and regulations, tax computationsAbility to handle complex financial informationAbility to create strong bonds with other people, inspires trust and confidence in both peers, senior, and external partnersDemonstrate good communication skills to convey informationHave a keen eye for details, ability to manage multi-tasks/projects and meet tight deadlines, is analytical and highly organizedWork comfortably in a highly collaborative setting, have a confident and outgoing personalityProficient in financial software such as SAP 3R, SAP 4Hana is a plus, Office and Google suite packageIdeal background/experience:5 years of work experience as a cost Accountant, Cost Analyst, Accountant or similar roleA bachelor's degree in accounting is the minimum requested but profiles who also have earned a master's degree in accounting/finance are preferredPlease note that if you are NOT a passport holder of the country for the vacancy you might need a work permit.
