The Industrial Engineering Specialist is responsible for analyzing internal manufacturing processes, identifying wastes and inefficiencies, driving improvement actions, increasing productivity, maintaining quality standards, and reducing costs.

He/She collaborates closely with Manufacturing, Planning, Maintenance, and Quality departments, supporting new projects and technological upgrades to comply with product specifications and meet customer needs.

He will also manage the stamping production and their maintenance at suppliers.

We are looking for an engineer with an excellent academic background (mechanical), preferably with a minimum working experience in manufacturing companies.

Duties and Responsibilities: Implement and maintain standard work operations along all the production processes and assembly lines. Participate in projects to increase plant productivity and develop new processes. Participate in value stream analysis through kaizen events and implementation of lean projects to improve on-time delivery, 5S, compliance to safety norms, and adherence to cost objectives. Work on the floor to improve operations KPI (cycle times, productivity, space utilization, shop floor, and line design codes, etc.

). Implement and maintain master data, routing, BOMs. Manage sheet metal stamping, working with external suppliers and internal maintenance. Work on the implementation and usage of the following tools and processes:Standard Specification for Purchased Equipment and toolsStandard Work to achieve best cost, quality, and performancePlant Layout and/or Process ChangeOEE and utilizationTotal Productive/Preventive Maintenance, AM for Equipment and Tools5SBasic Problem SolvingProcess document procedures for process specs, control plansNPD checklist for Manufacturing EngineeringQualifications: Engineering degree required (Mechanical or related fields). Fluent in English, both conversation and writing. Preferably with a minimum working experience in manufacturing companies. Knowledge of technical drawing. Mechanical process knowledge. Strong execution ability to get the work done within target, time, and budget. Good interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with internal and external colleagues. Project management skills. Knowledge of lean methodologies preferred. Technical knowledge on redesign of production and assembly processes preferred. Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD.
