Industrial Procurement Specialist

We are looking for a Professional willing to join our Supply Chain Team, with a motivation to work within an international and challenging environment.
You will be part of the Procurement Department and you will manage the activities related to the procurement process, monitoring and sourcing of suppliers.
Responsibilities: Contribute to draft the project Vendor List agreed upon with the Project Manager and Local Procurement Manager;
Receive the Purchase Request with Drawings/DB/Technical Specifications and analyze the technical contents;
Analyze the material/activity to buy in alignment to the Procurement Plan and the contract terms to cascade;
In accordance with Local Procurement Manager he/she will select Suppliers to be involved through the contract Vendor List, and/or adding any other Qualified Suppliers;
Receive offers from Suppliers verifying that they are in compliance with the requirements established in the Offer Request, interacting with Suppliers and involving the Technical Department for alignment;
Request to the suppliers to quote alternative technical solutions whenever possible;
Invite the selected Suppliers to negotiate and draft the negotiation report;
Prepare the tabulation, regardless of the technical analysis outcome, evaluating the right commercial conditions and comparing the actual prices with the cost estimate data and historical data;
Prepare the order and awarding memo, following Company procedures and including all clauses necessary to minimize risks for the Company;
Handle the receipt of the approval of the order;
Deal with the claims from and to Suppliers in compliance with the instructions received from the Local Procurement Manager and from the PM.
Required Profile: Degree in Engineering or equivalent through experience;
Proven experience as Buyer in the Engineering or Industrial sector;
Ability to conduct market analysis collecting information on suppliers, markets and pricing analysis;
Proficient Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and SAP;
Reliability, accuracy and passion for details are required;
Excellent interpersonal skills with good understanding of dynamic and challenging environments;
Good organization skills and time management, as well as excellent relational skills and team working capabilities, flexibility and result orientation complete the ideal profile;
Good Knowledge of English (writing and speaking) is mandatory;
Knowledge of Spanish is an added value;
Willingness to travel.
