Role and mission**:

Reporting directly to the Raw Material Research and Purchasing Manager based in Italy, you will oversee the research and industrialization of all fabrics, ribbons and trimmings for the leather goods and footwear lines.

**Main tasks and responsibilities**:

- Communicating regularly with the stylists to select the best supplier to achieve the set goal both in terms of look, times and cost.

- Being responsible for the research and development activities for a proper execution in due time, in order to meet Balmain business goals.

- Ensuring the respect of planning and calendar for industrialization, aiming for being completely aligned to the style and vision of the Studio.

- Updating a research and classification archive.

- Being the main point of contact for the product offices on information relating to arrivals and deliveries for all materials (both for samples and for industrialization).

**Profil**:

- Extensive knowledge and technical expertise on all the various types of fabrics, ribbons, and trimmings and of the suppliers who produce them.

- Strong knowledge of Excel, PLM and SAP

- Team spirit, rigorous and energetic.

- Ability to professionally interact with management and coworkers.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Strong organizational skills, multi-tasking and prioritizing capabilities.

- Fluent in Italian and / or French.

Italian language is a plus.

- Availability to travel
